Dalsland trip

[threecol_one]

[/threecol_one] [threecol_one]From Mellerud up north to Bengtsfors, we take a slow ride with the irresistible and charming rail-bus from the fifties. We will enjoy from the train the views of Dalsland, its lakes and its rolling landscape. The train passes through the viaduct in Håverud, Tisselskog, Billingsfors, and other beautiful sceneries.

The modern Japanese dance form Butoh encounters double bass improvisation from Amsterdam. Hisako Horikawa and Rozemarie Heggen will occupy the old community house of this old industrial settlement and create a piece of performance art inspired by the history and the character of the environment.

SichtLaut Trio from Brazil/Germany & New Zeeland/England will invade the Odéon stage with a performance where dance and music are truly intertwined. Geraldo Si and David Leahy have performed in many different places, but never before in an old Good Templar cinema with blue curtains.

New! The Bengtsfors Bonus: Maria Mebius Schröder & Steinar Raknes on the polished parquet of the “Palette”.

[threecol_one]6 pm Skållerud Church

The church dates from the 1500s and is situated on a hill overlooking the lake Nären. Our guests of honour, Julyen Hamilton and Barre Phillips, conclude the festival with an act where the double bass tones meet dance and text. Don’t miss this opportunity to encounter two guests from far away, fantastic artists, in a particularly beautiful place.
